5 Instagram Tools for Success
If you’re serious about making Instagram work for your business, you need to get the right Instagram tools to help you reach your goals.
I’ve put together a list of the five best Instagram tools that will lead to more Instagram success.
1. iGram.io
iGram is an online web tool to help you with downloading Instagram Photos, Videos and Reels. It is a great tool to be able extend your content by sharing or re-using other people’s content.
iGram is designed to be easy to use on any device, such as, mobile, tablet or computer.
It’s as simple as:
Step 1: Get the Instagram link of the content you’d like to use
Step 2: Paste the URL into igram
Step 3: Download to your computer & post or schedule to your account
* Don’t forget to credit the account from which you have downloaded the content from.

2. Canva
If you haven’t already heard of this amazing and easy to use design platform, Canva is a free-to-use online graphic design tool. You can use it to create social media posts, presentations, posters, videos, logos and more. It has Instagram templates already pre-sized for use along with hundreds of design & content ideas that you can choose to use as is or update with your brand look & feel.
There is a free version which for most businesses will be fine. Or you can choose to subscribe to the Pro version and pay a monthly or annual subscription.
Benefits of Canva Pro are:
Background Remover (BG remover) – Click to remove image backgrounds, perfect for product photos, headshots, or transparent PNGs.

3. inShot
InShot is a simple to use video creation and editing application. It allows you to create high-quality, 360-degree videos with your phone to share on social media, particularly Instagram and Facebook.
I use it to add filters, music and it can also be used to stitch together content whether its video and/or images.
Top Tip! Remember to ‘copy’ and credit the music creator when you select an audio option from within the App.
4. Linktree
‘Everything you are. In one simple link’
I love linktree! It gives you the opportunity to take the one link in your Instagram bio and make it work much much harder for you by providing you with a super easy way to share everything you create, curate and sell online. All from the one link in your bio.
It all comes together in a link in bio landing page designed to convert. Check out the What Matters Marketing use of Linktree below:
Linktree is free to use or you can opt for the Starter, Pro or Premium. I just use the free version and find it sufficient for my needs. I will say that you do not get in-depth analysis with the free version so I suggest you use your Google Analytics to track what traffic is coming from Instagram and to which landing pages on your website.

5. Instagram Insights
I am a big fan of metrics – as the saying goes ‘What gets measured, gets managed’.
Instagram Insights is a feature that allows Instagram Business Account users to see analytics related to their profile and posts. From this data, you’ll be able to identify what your audience likes and engages with the most to improve your Instagram strategy.
Data and analytics help you measure the impact of your marketing efforts across different channels to see if there’s something you need to do differently — like target a different audience, post at a certain time of day, or experiment with a new content format.
Top tip! You must have your account set to a business profile and you’ll need 100 or more followers to gain access to Instagram insights
